This was the action of the meeting of magnates held Saturday, after hearing the -| report of, the circuit: commitiee. There were. representatives from all the cities mentioned at the conference, with the excep sion of Thief River Falls and St. Cloud. From both of these cities telegrams were received from the prowmoters of the clubg there, seeking admission to the circnit. Officers were elected as follows: D. J, Laxdahl of Fargo, honorary president and member of board of control at large; B. FL. Kent of Grand Forks, president; - Matt Camitsch of Fargo,vice president. A committee was appointed to draft a resolution expressing the appreciation for the excellent wotk done by D. J; Laxdafil,. the retiring president. There has béen considerable discussion about taking in Wah- peton-Breckenridge and Fergus Falls. 1t was found, however, that the park used at the former combination could not be easily secured, and with “Wahpeton- Breckenridge out of the possibil- ity Fergue Falls could not ke considered. Although it was de- cided that Brainerd and St. Cloud should be admitled into the league, there are some further particulars to be looked about the two before they are formally initiated. Resolutions of Sympathy.
