No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ¢ ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. ‘ One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. The Chiropractic is ten times more direct in the adjustments and the results getting health ten times more thor- ough in one tenth of the time than an Osteopath would. ;‘v Fbdbdbdddtddddddd b dddddddd C. As investigation continues it is ; being found that {he code revisioa of the laws of the state contains a good many serious ommissions so that it is apparent that the| code ought not to be passed by thelegislatureinits pr.eseut.f T, A striking instance of the defi- ciencies of the code is found in the fact discovered a few days ag) that the code hasi at one stroke done away with all the re- forms asto hail insurance enacted the legislature two yecats ago. At the last session of the legisla- ston secured the passage, of a law materialy amending the law as to hail insurance. The amend- ed law putan end to the whole- sale hail insurance to which the farmers of the state have for -many years been subjected. The revised code omits this legislation entirely thus making possible again a horde of wild cat ance companies to prey on. the farmers of the state. This re- form legislation was secured only in the face of strong and deter- mined opposition on the part of the hail insurance companies and if the code is adopted in its pre- ,sen(: form the fight will have to be made all over again. This is one illustration of which many might be cited. The revis- ed code still need much revising. insur- When Advertising Pays. Nor all advertising (yields the returns of ‘which advertising is possible,.and this is not the fault of the advertising but of the ad- vertiser. z When does advertising pay? First, when it reaches the buyer. You may advertise liberdl]y and cleverly but of what use is itif you usea medium that does not reach the buyer? Second, ad- vertising pays when the business advertised is backed by brains and enterprise. The .man who expects that advertising will make ‘it unnecessary for him to do anything but twirl his thumbs and count his profits will have plenty time to twirl his thumbs and but few profits to count. The successful man is the hustling, enterprising, thinking man and no one never saw 'a man of this kind who did not make advertis- ing pay. ' There are plenty of instances to be found in Bemidji as well as a thousand miles away. Itisnot enough simply to have something good nor simply to advertise, but ————————— | when you unite these Lhingé with enterprise and push, then it is that advertising pays. And the yield is often time an hundred fold. - J. PIERPONT MORGAN is doing pretty well even though he is on the wrong side of the sixty year dead line.
