No. The Chiropractic and the Osteopath both aim to put in place that which is out of place, to right that which is wrong; but the Path- ology Diagnosis, Prognosis and Movements are entirely different. One of my patients, Mr. W. A. Casler, has taken both Chiropractic and Osteopoth treatments. Olticial County amnd City Paper SUBSCRIPTION $5 PER YEAR Christmas. “Christmas is a good time, a kind, forgiving, lovable, charat- able, pleasant time, the best time I know of in the long calendar of the year.”” If Christmas is not this kind of a time to us, we have nobody but ourselves to blame for it. Christ came to earth and gave his life for the sons of men, it has been more blessed to give than to receive and there is no more beautiful way in which to commemorate the birth of our Savior than in taking thought for%each other—in doing some thing, hewever small, to show our good will toward our fellow man. There is no better time in all the world to lay aside the greed of getting and give our- selves over to thoughts of moth- ing but giving. We are all living in the same world and we all need the help of human sym- pathy. It is a little thing to give, but a big thing to get. “And so as Tiny Tim observed God bless us every one.”’ Since Let Us Have Peace. The Russo-Japanese war is proving to bé one of the memor- able wars of the world’s historv. The notable successes of the Jap- anese on every field has astound- ed the world and compelled its admiration while the heroic de- fense of Port Arthur has amazed us all. Six months ago an Asso- ciated Press despatch to the Pio- neer declared that Port Arthur was wobbling, but despite the most brilliant successes of the attacking Japanese Port Arthur still holds out and may hold out for months. There are parallels in history but none thatare more glorious—but it is glory for Rus- sian and glory for Japanese at a fearful cost. Let us have peace. The world has no right to longer allow such wholesale taking of life simply to satisfy the “honor” of anation. Weare simply stand- ing by and permitting awful, in- excusable murder without cause. It is high time for the powers of the world to interfere. The Senatorship for Sale.
