The M. & I. section crew are at work cutting down the hard vood trees just north of the de- pot in order to allow a more free gassage of teams to and from the depot. The trees are the rem- nants of what years ago formed one of the prettiest natural parks in Minnesota and the ground up- on which they stand has been used for centuries as a favorite camping ground for the numer- ous tribes of Indians who in- habited this section.
