Ross of St. Paul, Mrs. Ross being Mrs. Senear’s niece. Miss Addie Emil of Blackduck, who has been confined to the St, Anthony’s hospital for some time past, was released Saturday. Mrs. J. St. Germain has been released from St. Anthony’s hos- pital after having recovered from a severe attack of typhoid fever. Mrs. C. W. Newbery and son, Tommy, and Mrs. L. Kane re- turned to Crookston yesterday after a few days visit with Mrs. R. W. Hitchcock. A first class seamstress has recently arrived from one of the largest sewing shops in Minne- apolis and is located above Palace Cafe restaurant ready to do all kinds of dressmaking, John McCuaig, who recently was severely injured in an acci- dent at the Crookston mill, is getting along satisfactorily and will no doubt be out of the hospi- bal in a couple of months, The school board of the village of Nymore has leased the room over the general store of Willis Nye and the room will be used the coming winter in addition to the regular school building. The dance given Saturday night at Glidden’s hall in Ny- more was very well attended and a pleasant time is reported. An- other dance will be giyen there next Saturday night and anoys- ter supper will be served. “Doc” Rutledge of Cass Lake shook'’hands withhis many friends in Bemidji yesterday. Mr. Rut- ledge states that his appointment as game warden was made some | months ago and that his territory was merely extended last week, Julius Bilden arrived in the city yesterday from North Da- kota, where he has spent the past month running a threshing machine.
