Olson, state superin- tendent of public instrucnion, is in the city and will deliver a lecture at the Presbyterian church this evenirg to which all are cordially invited. Mr. Olson is here to visit the summer school now in session in Bemidji and is much pleased with the work be- ing done by Conductor Carroll and his assistants. He is one of the most popular and efficient superintendent of public instruc- tion that Minnesota has had and the lecture this evening will be well worth hearing. Mr. Olson is thor oughly posted upon the educational affairs of the state, but he is a practical man of affairs, not a pedant, and is a vigorous, entertaining speaker, His lecture will be upon a popular theme and will afford those who attend a very pleasant hour’s entertainment.
