Mrs. Mary Banks Staycey, the head of the movement, was formelly initiated a few days ago and recently she swore in twenty of her followers, little shiv- ers of delight crept up and down their spines at the joy of being initiated in- to the mysteries of grips, passwords, signals of distress and Masonic pos- sessions’ The new title, Masoness, has a fine sound and the insignia of membership, viz. maltose cross and rose is pretty. This new Order will be exclusive, the requsite for member- ship must be the wife, widow, daugh- ter, sister or grand-daughter of a Ma- son. The Ritual used will be that of the first woman’s lodge founded in France in 1798, of which the Empress Josephine was a member, the title was Mistress Mason Kalif Alee Temple will meet some time this month, Get you little axes ready.
