We should be positive as well as manly. The best colored sporting writer is Jesse K. Roy. It is the brave man who wil? de- fend honor. Do you want a first class bi- cycle ? Honest politicians will never be- tray a friend. There is honor among thieves. Why can not there be honor among politicians ? The greatest men are those who do great deeds. It is wrong to dislike a person because others do. Speak well of a person, when he abuses you. Always hear both sides ofall ques- tions. A wise judge is not guided by his prejudices. A corrupt judge will take bribes. All judges are not corrupt. The Negro is his own enemy. Pete Meredith always attends to his own business.
