SOUTHERN COLORED MEN 8PEAK— ORGANIZATION THE SECRET OF SUCCESS. Rooms of the Southern States Colored Republican Association. Wednesday July 23rd, 1890. The followiig addresss to the Colored Republicans of the South- ern States, was nnanimously adopt- ed and ordered to be published in all the Republican oewspapers of the South. ADDRESS: In view of the fact that there is a great lack ot political information among the voters of the South, and that there isa great necessity for organization among said voters, the Southern States Colored Re- publican Association, whose object will be the disseminaticn of whole- some information among tbe voters of the Southern States, and of ad- vising and counselling such organ~ ization, as will be effective in every country and district and for the purpose of uniting the Republican votes of the South and arousing them toasense of their daty to- ward the Republican party- Witb a keen sense of our obliga- tion to the Republican party and a vital interest in the suprémacy of | Republican principles, we do here- by earnestly call upon those who are interested in good government | as administered by the Republican | E party to meet together and effect | atborough organization in every | country, city and hamlet, | the cause of human liberty and the) rights and privileges of the labor-| ing people, demand at this crises an unusual amount of earnestness on the part of every voter who is’ ‘satisfactory administration of the in favor of honest elections, and a’ government.
