It was chiefly remarkable for the sentencing of Columbus Adair, Govan Adatr, and Martin Bernard for the murder of the Weston family. They were con- victed at the last term of the Superfor Court, but they appealed to the Supreme Court, and that court refused a venire de novo. The sentence of death was pronounced by Judge Henry.
