Miss Margaret F, O'Connell, principal of the Junior High School of Public Sohool No. 170, received many messages of congratulation to-day over her elec- tion as a District Superintendent in Brooklyn, to fill the vacancy occastoned vy the promotion of Mrs, Grace Strachan Forsythe to be an Associate Superintendent. Miss O'Connell's examination was made by Samuel Stern and seconded by Mrs. Emma L.
