FVESENTENCED. TIAL FOR LE Who Hanged Negro Strikehreaker. OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan, 25.—Five self-confessed members of the party that lynched Jake Brooks, hard labor in the State penitentiary in McAlester. They. pleaded gullty before Judge James I. Phelps in Dis- triet Court. The five are Lee Whitley, twenty- Yearta, nineteen, all white, and Rob- ert Allen, twenty-seven, cousin of the forty, both Negroos Whitley and Yearta are members of the Butcher Workmen's mittedly a union sympathizer. Brooks, the man lynched, was a non-union man. Robert McAllister and J. V. Harrts, the remaining men under arrest ‘ere for alleged complicity in the lynching, are planning to fight the murder charge.
