ArmstronG Cork Company, Linoceum Department, Lancaster, Pennsylvania New York Office: 212 Fifth Ave., Phone Madison Square 1700 Armstrongs Linoleum for Every Floor in the House Why young women should drink milk HE very fact of being a woman carries with it cer- tain responsibilities that should be recognized by every woman. To her is given the possi- bility of some day being the mother of children. For her own sake, as well as for the children’s, she should prepare for her duty in life Nature, kind and wise, does all she can to help. She causes the strength of a coming mother to be given to a child even if this represents a sacrifice of what the mother actually needs for herself. Hence it is doubly important that women help Nature and themselves by building up a sound, robust constitution. Of all foods for this purpose, there is none like fresh, pure milk. It should have a proper and important place in the diet either as a beverage or in- cluded in other foods. Milk is rich in food proper- ties that make muscle, bone and blood— properties too that add to the life force in human bodies. These vitalizing elements are known as vitamines. Many foods contain some of these vitamines. Milk is the one food that has all of them. We are all coming to know of the great food value of milk. We know that it should be in- cluded in the diet of every per- son, male and female. We know that it is the best and cheapest food in the whole world considering its value to human life.
