FIRE EXTINGUISHER ON B. R. T. NO GOOD When the Elevated = Structure Caught Fire, Apparatus Went Out of Cammission. To the Editor of Te Brening World Last night I came across an incident which revealed a terrible menace to the lives of passengers on the B. It. T. Ut 8.20 a tie on the elevated struc- ture at Pacific Street and Miathush Avenue caught fire, It wasn't much, @nd a call was sent in for a hook and ladder, Before the apparatus reached the place, however, a fireman off duty boarded a Culver line train at the Atlantic Avenue station and or the motorman to proceed slowly to blaze.
