Belgium, July 8 (Associated Press)—A compromise with» Germany on the, time to be allowed her for! disarmament, fixing the period at six Months, seemed to be the probable E Olitcome to-day of the conferences among the Allied delegates here. The Germans had asked for months. ‘The Allied representatives met this Morning and for two hours and a half discussed the German plan pre- sented yesterday. It resulted in an agreement upon the attitude to be taken on the disarmament question. The full conference, the meeting time of which had been set for noon, was postponed until 3.30 o'clook when, it was stated, the Allies would make &nown to the Germans the final de- @ision regarding disarmament. Noth- ing was given out officially aa to this deaision but it was understood it had ‘been agreed to allow the Germans six ™onths in which to disarm. The official communique on the morning's meeting read: withont the Germans to receive the report of the military representatives , of the allies on their views with re- gard to the reply to the German pro- posals for disarmament, in material and effectives, The special reports of the military, naval and aerial ex- Berta on the relative figures of the rmans and the allies also were considered.
