‘4,800,000 TO GET VICTORY MEDALS Legion Posts to Make Distributions to Veterans on Armistice ’ Day. New York State and other American Legion headquarters throughout the country will distribute 4,800,000 Victory Medals, authorized by the War Do- partment, in connection with the cere- monies of Armistice Day. ‘The presen- tation of these badges of honor will be the feature of the day’s observance. Veterans may apply for their medals through any of the 9,500 of the Legion Posts in the United States, insular pos- Senstons and foreign lands.
