- SUES FOR PLAY’ \ . Warts — Producer - Husband — Re- $...Aed From Control of “Peg o’ My Heart.” Additional details of the controversy Tow being waged betwen, Oliver M. Morosco and his wife, Annie T, Mor- 080, over hiss alleged mismanagemeat H of their joint theatrical enterprises, . were made public yesterday when Mrs. Morosco obtained an order from Su- Preme Court Justice Lydon requiring her husband to show cause Monday: why he should not be restrained from exercising any acts of ownership or control in “Peg O' My Heart.” {\ Mrs, Morosco sets forth in her am- } davit what purports to be a copy of a @ bill of sale made out to her off Dec. 20, 1912, by her husband, in which he % conveys to her all right, title and in- terest in “a vertain contract with one dartley Manners for the production of a drama or play known as ‘Peg 0’ My Heart.'" The play, according to Mra, Moros- oo, enjoyed a run at the Cort Theatre from December, 1913, to May, 1914, and the gross receipts €iuring that ‘time were $760,860, After it left Broadway, she asserts, it was played continuous- ly by_ several companies in cities of the United States and Canada, the gross receipts amounting to more Than $3,500,000. The profit that should have accrued to her out of this, Mr: Morosco avers, is more than $250,000. ————_—_—_—_—_—_—__———_—_—. ‘Thea. 4oum, @. of B’y.
