Lynch, thirty-two, former- ty a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army, ‘was brought back from St. Louis, Mo, yesterday by Detective Clarence Daly for trial on a charge of grand larceny, According to the indictment against Lynch, which was found on Dec. 23 last, he disappeared from the Hotel Astor, where he was stationed as Assistant Paymaster in the Army prior to thay date, with $1,022 which had been take from time to time from the desk of th Paymaster.
