This morning 12.000 pounds of hams were placed on sale. This was part, of his second order of 150,000 pounds of ham ordered from the Army. He has also some of the large canned~ bacon order of a few days ago still left, but to-morrow five carloads of bacon, 150,000 pounds, will arrive at the central distributing station, and will go to the householders the fol- lowing day.
