Under the leadership of Christopher B. Winne, President of the N. ¥. T. C, the membership came out strongly for an increased number of competi- tive meetin, during the coming sea- jon, which was attended by more than a hundred of the male members of the club, developed into @ boosters’ meeting. The junior mem- bership list was moved up from twenty-five members to fifty. It al- ready includes the most famous boys playing on the American courts, Vin- cent Richards, holder of three nation- al titles; Teddy Le Gros, Abraham Bassford $d, Benjamin H, Letwon and others being on the list.
