BALTIMORE, Aug. 2%.—United States Senator Ollie M. James, Ken- tucky, died at 6.6° o'clock ‘this morn- ing at the Johns Hopkins Hospital here. For several months the Senator from Kentucky had been a patient at the hospital suffering from stomach trouble, When he was admitted to ‘the institution it was not believed that he was in any danger, but, his condition became critical several weeks ago. His wife and brother, Edward K. James, were at his bed-\ side when he died.
