It is well to observe that Castoria is prepared today, for the past 40 years, under the personal supervision of Mr. Chas. H. Fletcher. What have makers of imitations and substitutes at stake? The scenes of jam and hysteria enacted at the Times Square and Grand Central terminals of the short shuttle service on the opening day of the new “H" system were elim- inated. To-day's single>point of confusion lay at the Rector and Greenwich Street transfer point of the West Side line, where those wishing to go to Brooklyn had to take a transfer and walk over to the Wall Street sta- tion of the old subway to catch a train through the East River tube. Here, as in the case of the shuttle terminals on the opening day, thore was a marked lack of signs telling transferred passengers where to go when they got their pink slips $50,000,000 IS NEEDED FOR NEW K, OF G, DRIVE Supreme Directors Adopt the Slogan “Everybody Welcome, Everything Free.” Supreme Directora of the Knights of Columbus from all parts of the United States and Canada are meeting at the f to-day perfecting plans of in- nal importance to be presented | symptoms or nature’s warnings, needed to carry on the work here and abroad in the next twelve months ‘The Supreme Board of Directors \o- e.
