Exterior lights over entrances and exits to public buildings, sufficient for public safety, and signs locating tele graph and te ne offices will be all that remain to-nicht of New York's way white ways if the lightless night order of the United States Fuel Ad ministration, which goes into effect to-day, is enforced. Reeve Schley, Fuel for Manhattan, to-day made public his interpretation of the order issued at Washington, Mr. Schley forbids all advertising signs and all lights in show windows on Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday nights of each week.
