SOUTH BROOKLYN GC, CS WETORY ‘The citizens of South Brooklyn have wmpleted arrangements for celebrat- Ye the 80 cent gas victory won in a vigorous campaign carried on by The Evening World. The date fixed is June 29. ‘ The final arrangements will be completed at the Avon Beach Hotel, Cropsey and Nineteenth Avenue, Bath Beach, on Monday evening, June 12. The celebration will be preceded by 4 dinner, at which the guests of honor* Will be Sophie Irene Loeb of The Evening World and Herbert Reeves, President of the South Side Board of Trade. William J. Mackin, Secretary of the Committee of Arrangements, makes the following statement in regard to the celebration: “A temporary committee, headed by John J. Gordon of No. 8650 Nineteenth Avenue, is now in charge of the plans for the coming celebration, which is expected to outrival anything ever seen of its kind in the entire history |! of popular triumph celebrations.
