He brought Mellen’s name into the case as a man who could tell of Brandets’s attempt “to wreck the Now Haven Railroad.” Brandeis scored heavily at the open- ing of the hearing when Frank Lyon of Washington, formerly with the In- terstate Commerce Commission, testi. fied that Brandets's contentions in the 1918 rate case hit clients of Clifford Thorne, Iowa Ratiroad Commissionor, ~ FOR INDIGESTION OR AN UPSET STOMACH ‘Instant Relief from Pain, Sourness, Gases, Acidity, Heartburn and Dyspepsia~No Waiting!
