The Bradys and Billingses are large holders of stock in the Consolidated Gas and New York Edison com- panies. Completing the interlocking rela- tionship is the large stook interest of the Consolidated Gas Company in the Brooklyn Union Gas Company, so that practically all Hgbting luterests in both borougha are owned aud oper- ated in close harmony. The investigating committees con- tinued {ts probing imto the 9% cont rate case which the Public Service Cmmission planned to con- firm to-day. Commissioner Williams floundered in his attompte to explain the figures on which he based his 95-cent opinion and confessed that he had relied on tabulations furnished detailed knowledge of them.
