KANSAS CITY, July 30.—A tem- porary injunction against President James A, Gilmore of the Federal League and owners of Federal League Clubs, restraining them from tamper ing with players under contract te the Kansas City American Associa- ton team, was granted in the Circuit Court here to-day, Arguments on a petition for a per- manent injunction will be heard in the Circuit Court to-morrow. The application asked that the injunction be effective against Fielder Jones, Phil Ball, the Ward brothers, owners of the Brooklyn team; Hap Myers, C, C. Madison, Richard Hanlon, Lee Magee and James A. Gilmore. The petition declares that the Federal League is disorganizing the local association team, that the play- ers are becoming dissatisfied and “listening to the call.” It is pointed out that the sedson is well along and that it would be impossible to re- place the present players if the team were disrupted.
