The policeman drew his revolver and Berkman handed back the nightstick. The policemen were able to get their prisoners out of the crowd finally and to the sta- tion. The crowd followed and at times was threatening. Berkman was not arrested at the time of his encounter with the police- man, and went along with the crowd to the etatio..
