TWO MEN KILLED ‘BYFALLING FROM HIGH WINDOWS Devere Hall, a Lawyer, Plunges From Ninth Floor of Hotel Marie Antoinette. HE HAD: LONG BEEN ILL. Second Victim Was 86-Year- Old Philip Rosenberg, Patient at a Sanitarium. ‘Two elderly men under the care of physicians were killed to-day by falls from windows. Devere Hall, sixty yeers old, a lawyer, of Bay City, Mich., met his death by a fall from the win- ow of his foom on the ninth floor of the Hotel Marie Antoinette. Philip Ro- sendorg, eighty-six years old, formerly well known in Harlem, dropped from the window of his room on the third floor of the White Cross Sanitarium at No. 328 West One Hundred and Thirty- eeventh street. The body of Devere Hall, who came te New York for medical treatment on Dec. 12, was found on the roof of the engine room of the Hotel Marie Antoinette, at Sixty-seventh street and Broadway. Mr. Hall had fallen or imped from the window of his room on the ninth floor during the night Coroner Feinberg believes the Michi- gan lawyer met death accidentally.
