THE EVENING WORLD, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, SULER SENSU Pao HOUSEKEEP’ AND SES OB HUNTERS While an industrious artisan was re- moving his name from the glass door of the little office suite on the ninth floor || Of the building at No. 115 Broadway | to-day, Governor-elect Sulzer was re- ceiving visitors. Some came to tell the ext Governor how glad they were over is election, others wanted him as a! Gvem at banquets, and still others, a Majority of those who called, sought to convince him they were entitled to jobs under the new administration. Mr. Sulzer received and listened to all of them. To some he was more cordial than to others, but even the job-hunters went away with smiles on their faces. The lion-hunters, the committees invit- ing Mr. Sulzer to banquets, did not fare particularly well. The Governor-elect {@ going very slow in accepting invi- tations—he's so busy. To-night he will be at the table with President- , @lect Wilson at the Southern Club Danquet and Saturday night he will be guest of honor at a banquet, but there will be few other affairs at which he will appear before his inauguration. Mr. Sulver went to work early this Morning and he expects it will be late this aiternoon before he gets through.
