Evers, Inc, a furniture concern at No. 32 East Twenty-first street, was arraigned in court on @ charge ef beating the child, and Magistrate Butte held her in $1,000 bail for examination on Saturday. Mrs, Evers is said to be the wife of Frederick W. Evers, who was in court. Neither the prisoner nor Mr, Evers would make any statement. Bail was farnished after some delay.
