Morse as lower than a common gambler United States District-Attorney Stimson to-day began the actual prosecu- tion of the banker and Alfred H. Curtis, former president of the sus- pended National Bank of America, on charges of violating the national hanking laws. A jury had been obtained before Mr. Stimson began his opening address and Judge Hough ordered that it should be locked up and kept under guard throughout the proceedings. \ This is the first time in nearly! ~ twenty years that a jury in the United States Court has been ordered locked up.
