URPHY PUNISHES JUDGE PARKER FO VELAND Wl . ooo Tammany Chief to Keep Former Can-. didate Off the Committee on Resolutions for Proposing a Plan Otfensive to Bryan BY MARTIN GREEN, Staff Correspondent of The Evening World. ' DENVER, Col., July 4—Out of the rounds a certainty the situation sprang into life and vigor last evening when Charles F. Murphy and the vanguard of the New York delegation reached Denver. The arrival of Mr. Murphy had been awaited with an eagerness that was almost painful by the Brvan boosters on the ground, They were anxious to know if the Democracy of the Empire State was behind Judge Alton B. He assured the Bryan men that the New York delegation, -instead of trying to stir up trouble, is determined to bend every effort in the direction of the promotion of harmony.
