When taken into custody in Boston early this morning Elliott taiked freely and told a straightforward story which the police belleve. He vad: “1 left my home in Newton on Christ- mas afternoon on the Framingham train at 5,08, leaving Boston at 6.37. 1 went to the Continental Hotel, where 1 got my check cashed, and took the 11.30 train to New York. I arrived a Grand Central station between 6 and 7 o'clock, I first got shaved in a barber elop on the north side of Forty-second street near Third avenue.
