PLATT COMPANY TOGRAND JURY Mayor Fagan Accuses United States Express of Frauds in “Watering.” ‘The United States Express Company, of which Senator Thomas C. Platt is the head, was accused yesterday of watering {ts stock and defrauding the municipality of Jersey City of thou- sands of dollars. The accusation was Geemed of suffictent moment by Mayor Fagan to have a complaint drawn, which has been submitted to the Grand Jury of Hudson County for investiga- tion.
