Van Brunt, Presiding Justice of the Appellate Branch of | the Supreme Court, First Division, dropped dead this afternoon as he was ascending the main stairway of the Brooklyn Bridge at the Manhattan entrance, , Miss Georgia Van Brunt, a daughter, was leaning on his arm when! the jurist suddenly pitched forward, and before his daughter could catch him fell heavily.
