In this sult, brought by State Senator Bracket! as counsel for Mra. Young, fled in Saratoga County, new charges are made against the officers and dl- rectors, It is alleged that in addition to the other wrongful acts of those iny trusted with the care of millions be- longing to the policy-holders, the funds of the Equitable have been used to set- tle claims against Individual directors @rowing out of the Shipbuilding scan- dal. Tho names of these directors are mot made public The increases in the salary of James 1, Hyde until ft reached $100,00 a year are told and a demand made that this, money be returned to the Equitable, as it is declared he has rendered no ade- quate service for this enormous salary, which he was able to obtain through the control of a majority of the stock and the naming of the directors.
