PHILADELPHIA, June 10.—After weeks of ceaseless vigilance, Mrs. Mar- tha Tackey, of Brooklyn, to-day had her husband, Martin, arrested together with Della Compton, also of Brooklyn, @ young woman for whom Lackey, as charged, deserted his wife and family. Lackey and the Compton woman were found in a boarding-house kept by Mrs, Gavitt, at No. 162 Brown street, this city, by a New York de- tective and two local officers. ‘The officers were accompanied by Mra, Lackey and Mr. Compton, and when the young woman saw her father and learned that Lackey had been arrested whe promptly fainted. When she was revived both she and Lackey were! taken to the Ninth District station and thence to the City Hall for a hearing.
