Mr. Lauterbach was attorney for Jesse Lewisohn in the litigation which arose over his refusal to testify against Canfield, Mr. Roopey submitted a brief prepared by Mr. Lauterbach, who held that a discussion of the bill in a brief was a better form of argu- ment than to discuss it orally in a gen-| eral way. Appeal from High Court. One of the members of the committee sked him if he dign’t represent Mr. Lewisohn. He replied that he did.
