Mra Mary Agces MoCahill, one of the best known women eoulpcors of New York, who has a studio at No. 145 West Fifty-fitth street, is respon- sible for a new fad in portraiture which bids fair to supersede the crase for minietures which has for several years monopolized the attention of fashionable women in New York. She introduced to the upper circles of New York society fhe relief, or tablet, portrait.
