McCullum was robbed on May 29. On that date the mbbery was reported to the police by Mr. MeCullum, who said that while his wife was in the bath- room and her maid was dressing her .|hafr a burglar had entered the flat and + [looted it of Jewels and money. The front door apparently had been forced, as had a dresser drawer. A cold chissel was found in the flat, presumably left by the burglar ‘The police suspected the maid, tien found she had a duplicate set of keys, She arrested and indicted, although Mrs. McCullum was positive Molly Peterson, a negro of y in the Tombs the woman confessel to Detectives Charlton and Boyle. It is literally true that liquid prepared ‘kidney remedies are worse than the dis- | eases they pretend to cure, | The chances of recovery from kidney | disorders when no medicine is taken are |greater than when liquid remedies, | charged with alcohol, are taken into the ys. Nature, unassisted, may pull {one through a mild attack of kidney dis- order; an alcoholic remedy is sure to in- flame, irritate and excite, so that the kidneys, if one recovers in spite of the alcohol, remain forever after weakened and liable to disease. Recovery is certain if a carefully pre- pared, thoughtful, authorized specific, such as Dr. Pettingill's Kidney - Wort Tablets, is quickly used, The Tablets are scrupulously free from alcohol. St. Regis Falls, Neb., April 14, 1903, Dear Sirs: I have had kidney trouble of all kinds for thirty-five years, and have never |found anything that helped me so much as Kidney-Wort Tablets. Yours sincerely, MRS. CHARLES BOSTIL. The early signs of threatening kidney trouble are pains in the loins and regions of the kidneys, and headaches, foui breath, scanty or painful urination, in- ability to hold the urine; there is often constipation, weakness, feeling of faint- ness, nausea, vomiting and distention of the stomach, swelling of feet and legs. If you have any of these symptoms that alarm you; if you experience heat in the region of the kidneys and the urine is bright red color, depositing red or whit- ish thick sediment; if your skin 1s dry; lif you have dizzy feelings, shortness of \breath, or are losing in weight and strength, take Kidney-Wort Tablets with- out delay. Examine your urine. If you find sedi- ment like brick dust or cloudiness you should realize the danger that threatens you. Kidney-Wort Tablets work prompt- ly. But don't delay too long.
