The pret- tiest girl married in Newport in many a long day was wedded at 12.30 o'clock, when at the Church wf St. Joseph Miss Lily Oelrichs be- came the wife of Peter D. Martin. The Rey. Louis J. Deady performed the ceremony, the usual ritual of the Roman Catholic Church. Hundreds of invitations were sent out for the weduing and the break- fast which followed it in the pretty ‘Oelrichs cottage in Kay street. Two hundred persons were present at the breakfast. Those who acted as bridesmaids were Miss Isabel May, daughter of Henry May, of Southampton, and Miss Eleanor Jay, daughter of Mrs. Willlam Jay. Mts. Henry O. Havemeyer, jr., cousin of the bride, and Mrs, Cameron McRay Winslow, wife of Lieut.-Commander Winsiow, LU. 8. N., were matrons of honor, and Miss Blanche Oelrichs, sis- ter of the bride, was maid of honor. Walter §. Martin, brother of the] bridegroom, best man. The ushers were Capt. Philp M.
