After a long bunt, Detective Dale, of the West Forty-seventh street station, arrested a young negro on suspicion of shooting the boy. The prisoner is Wa. ter Chapman, eighjeen years old an lives at No. 685 West Fifty-seventh street. Detective Dale found Chapman in bed at his wume, The detectives told Magistrate Brann that they bad found a 2-cailbre re- volver in the prisoner's roum.
