In the first assault Count Orlowski was wounded in the thorax and the duel was stop-| ped by the doctors. } The conditions of the duel were that the contest should continue until one of the combatants was absolutely 4 unable to continue. The cause of the duel was a news- paper article reciting a quarrel be tween the two occurring in Count Boni de Castellane’s house. Count!
