Two Volumes Found by Boys in an Uncocupied Court-Room DistrictAttorney's Cffic2 Asked to Explain To.Day by Recorder Goff, A Man Seen Interestedly Studying the Books Four Days Ago, Recorder Goff to-dav sent for Acting District-A:torney Weeks, Assistant District-Attorney Henry W. Unger and Avsist District from them an explanation as to why certain important Grand Jury records had been found yesterday afternoon by some m of the nt Clerk Andrew Fay, of the Attorney's office, and demanded ssenger boys lying cn the floor mpty court-room, The court-room was Part III, of the Court of General Sessions, which has not been occupied this month. One of the records so found was a bound volume of the Grand Jury's min« utes for August, 184, while the other was for November, 1891. These rece ords under the law are secret, and their contents must under no circumstances be disclosed to any one except the District-Atorney or one of the Judges ot neral Sessions. Since the records were found they have been turned over to the District-Attor- ney by an “Evening World" reporter, who then learned that Col. Fellows's entire staff had been conducting a quiet search for them for the past month.
