Phone EL iot-7339 } As soon as sufficient capital is raised, application will be made for a charter under the Industrial Loan Act and supervision of the State Banking Department, and upon receipt of such charter the assets of the Mutual Reserve Association will be converted into the new chartered company. This chartered company will have the same by-laws, rates and provisions with regard to loans as the initial company, in so far as such conform to the pro- visions of the Industrial Loan Act. LOAN PROFITS Funds of the MUTUAL RESERVE ASSOCIATION will be employed in loans to County-City employees and others of good character at legal rates, not to exceed 1% per month, and for other purposes. The borrower, in addition to this interest, pays a fee not exceeding $2.00 per $100.00 to cover cost of investigation and drawing the papers. An additional release charge not exceeding $1.00 per $100.00 is made for waiver of obligation in case of death. a) spring ii TAL) oa By compounding the monthly payments as received and by discounting commercial papers and trust deeds of soundness, it is estimated the MUTUAL RESERVE ASSOCIATION will make gross profits approximating 20% per annum on this capital at a remarkably low overhead cost. Members of our trustees have carried on this type of business for years before capitalizing this company for the public and have actually demonstrated the profitable and practical need of the plan. Last year, on a business approximating $175,000, losses were $238.00, a negligible amount. RESERVE At least 25% of the surplus accruing each year shall be set aside as a reserve. $11,000.00 of a reserve has already been created. U. S. NAVY YARD BREMERTON, CHARLESTON, SHARES The preferred stock of the MUTUAL RESERVE ASSOCIATION is fully paid and non-assessable, selling at $55.00 per share and in units of two shares at $110.00.
