Make good interest on your coal money by purchasing your entire winter’s supply now. In the hope of stemming the tide of constantly increasing Diamond Briquet sales, importers of foreign coals have re- duced their prices from $1.60 to $1.85 per ton. For two rea- sons the price of Diamond Briquets has been reduced for sum- mer storage only 50c per ton; first, there is not sufficient margin of profit in the manufacture of Diamond Briquets to permit such a spectacular reduction; second, it is not neces- sary to make even the 50c reduction in order to successfully compete with the heat values represented in other coals. Study These Facts and Figures Prices quoted in the above table are today’s prices, which include the recent reductions. . Within the last few days a commercial delivery of each of these six coals was ordered and analyzed by Falkenburg & Co., one of Se- attle’s oldest and most reliable analytical, chemists. Falken- burg & Co. did not know these tests were for us. None of the dealers from whom the coals were purchased knew they were to be tested. We regard this report as a fair represen- tation of each of these coals. Diamond Briquets are the largest selling lump coal on this market. During the past three years their sales volume has increased 200%. No other coal on this market has won such overwhelming popularity. They contain 47% Black Diamond Coal, 47% South Prairie Coal and 6% asphalt binder— NOTHING ELSE. Diamond Briquets are guaranteed to be entirely satisfactory or we will cheerfully remove the unused portion of ‘your or- der from your bin and will promptly return your entire pur- chase price.
