It fits into practically every wash day program by taking upon itself the task of bleaching white clothes, without the nec | essity of boiling. For best results CLOROX should be used with cold water. You may stir CLOROX into the water in which the clothes are to soak, or put it into the first rinsing water. If the clothes are to soak over-night, or for a few hours, first prepare a suds of cold water and your favorite soap or washing powder. Then adda | tablespoonful of CLOROX for each gallon of water and mix well before the clothes are introduced. After this, launder as usual. When the white linen and cotton articles are to be rinsed ina CLOROX \G mixture, make a solution of cold water and CLOROX in the above pro- | portions, stirring well so that the clothes may be bleached evenly. Place | the laundered clothes in the CLOROX mixture and allow to stand for half an hour. Remove and rinse thor- oughly in clear, cold water.
