Mrs. Brado’s sworn affi- davit follows: aga Know All Men by These Present a ae 7 STATE OF WASHINGTON) Seattle, Washington 3 88. April 14 1925 COUNTY OF KING ) if Mrs. Edward Brado, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: I was 1] . afflicted with bronchial asthma for four years, and was compelled at all times to sit up in bed, and I could not and dared not lie down. I changed climate a number of times, without the slightest benefit. During that time I em- ployed twenty-one different doctors, who could not help me, and I had nine different operations, each one of which simply made me worse. One doctor had me using adrenalin hypodermic injections for fourteen months steady, and these brought me no benefit. Other doctors prescribed strydhnine, vaccines, atropin, codine, morphine, and other forms of nerve-deadening dope, which I used for several months. I had to use morphine hypodermically every four hours for the last four months of my nerve-wracking experience. Almost every doctor I had would fill me full of medicine, then finally tell my husband, my mother and my sisters that I could never get well, and that I had just a few more hours to live - that nothing more could be done for me. Some of them even told my people not to bother calling them again, as they could do no more and did not wish to be called on the case again. way of getting Ice Cream Y An absolutely new creation — never before of- fered anywhere! Finally we called Dr. Loughney, and I can conscientiously and positivelg swear that he brought me back from the very brink of the grave. He absolutely and entirely stopped my asthma inside of ten days. I do not choke up any more, and I do not have to use any more morphine or dope of any kind, for within one week after Dr. Loughney began treating ms, I was all through with morphine and I have not felt the slightest need of it since. I sleep restfully and peacefully since finding the one doctor who really and truly knows how to stop and completely eliminate asthma. Within ten days af- ter Dr. Loughney began treating me, I began to take short walks out of doors daily and to take auto rides, and I go dom town to picture shows now often. I am enjoying myself, and I've experienced a wonderful recovery, instead of dying as I was supposed to do according to the predictions of a number. of different doctors. My husband, as well as my father, mother and sisters, are complete- ly amazed at my wonderful recovery, and each of them considers Dr. Loughney's asthma treatment nothing short of a miracle. They , as well as myself, are signing and swearing to this affidavit. It is the actual and absolute truth regarding what I have suffered, the veritable hell which I endured, the utter failure of all previous methods of treatment by twenty-one doctors, and my speedy and complete recovery under Dr. Loughney's treatment. I should not forget to state that at the time I began Dr. Loughney's treatment my husband was employing two graduate nurses to look after me and care for me, as I could not be left alone for a'moment. However, within five days after Dr. Loughney took charge of my case, I had no need for a nurse, and both nurses were dis- missed. To show how wonderful Dr, Loughney's treatment is, I may add that the doctors, also the nurses, who previously had been on my case are simply astounded and mystified by my marvelous recovery. They are asking me how Dr. Loughney treats me, and they are still wondering how it was done. The accompanying photographs of myself, taken but two weeks apart, tell the story of my rapid recovery from asthma. Photo No. 1 shows how I looked on my first trip down town to Dr. Loughney's offices, after I was en- tirely free from all symptoms of asthma, - Even before this time, I had gained considerably under Dr. Loughney's treatment, and had begun to smile for the first time in years. Photo No. 2 plainly shows my remarkable gain in weight two weeks later, during which time I "picked up" from one to two pounds daily, and I have been feeling fine.
