THE SEATTLE STAR TONIGHT, SATURDAY, FEB. 16” AT MIDNIGHT The new Machine Switching Telephone System in Main and Elliott offices will be put in operation. All subscribers, after Midnight, will use the New Telephone Directory. Subscribers whose Telephones are Equipped with a Dial will Dial their calls. All Other Subscribers will use the telephone as at present. If you are a Main or Elliott subscriber and are not ‘sure that you know how to use the dial tele- phone, these sources of information are available and convenient: 1. Refer to the Booklet—Directions for the use of the Machine Switching Telephone” —for instructions, 2. Consult the information section of the new directory. (If you have not re- ceived a copy of the new directory, call our Business Office, EL iot-9060.) 8. Should you still remain uncertain about using the dial, then: Telephone our Business Office, EL iot-9060, and, if necessary, a representative will call on you; or call at our Business Office, Third Avenue and Seneca Street, between 8:80 and 5:30 on business days, and let us demonstrate it to you. If in the habit of calling from lists, cards or other memoranda, they should be de stroyed or revised to conform with the changed numbers appearing in the New Di- rectory.
